The Anyview System

vertex_unit.jpgAnyview is the ultimate total dispensing solution.

Combining highly accurate measurements, open-brand lens selection, stunning 3D graphics and real-world lens simulations, and genuinely life like frames on face visualizations, it's tomorrow's solution today.

Anyview is for any dispense - whether you're consulting for lenses, frames, sunglasses or contact lenses.

Highly accurate quick & easy measurements

The bespoke 10 Megapixel digital SLR camera with autofocus and 16x zoom provides unsurpassed image quality and resolution, leading to improved measurement accuracy and more life-like frames-on-face images.

The Anyview camera technology boasts the following features:

  • av_img02.jpgMultiple measurement types including: Box A, Box B, Box ED, DBL, UV, Vertex distance, Pantoscopic tilt, EP (monocular & binocular PDs and pupil height) , and face form angle (wrap angle).
  • Automatic compensation for face rotation angle (FRA) and Face tilt angle (FTA) - achieved by the system taking two images in only 15 seconds!
  • A unique camera tilt facility allowing measurement of vertex distance when thick sides of the frame would normally obstruct the view.
  • Automatic Bifocal height positioning (manually adjustable).
  • Automatic minimum blank size selection - ensuring optimum edge thickness (manually adjustable).
  • PD Rule feature allowing complete manual measurement confirmation.
  • Near PD measurement capability. Utilizing the near tablet (optional extra) accurate measurements can be automatically taken of the patients near PD.

Open-brand lens selection

We believe the future of dispensing technology has to provide measurements for all lens brands. To this end we work closely with all leading lens manufacturers to ensure full and up-to-date lens designs and data are included in the system, allowing the optician the freedom of choice, and ultimately offering the patient the best fit lens available.

Mapping data can be selected from the world's leading manufacturers to ensure the ultimate lens fit is selected based on prescription and final frame choice.

Stunning 3D graphics and real-world simulations

3d_lens_simulation.jpg

Anyview's powerful graphics and animations enable you to do the following:

  • Progressive lens simulations based on variable dioptric power can be viewed in different real-world scenarios.
  • Explain the benefits of individual progressive/free form lenses, showing less peripheral distortion, improved comfortable posture, wider near vision, better contrast, irradiation and sharpness.
  • Compare the visual effects of different lens designs, from spherical, aspherical, and double-sided aspherical, to higher refractive index lenses.
  • Show the differences in lens materials, such as glass, plastic, and polycarbonate.
  • Demonstrate MAR coatings and UV coatings as well as photochromic and polarized lenses.
  • "Real-time" can show the cosmetic appearance of the prescription lens fitted to the selected frame on the patient's face, as well as this, tints from various manufacturers can be overlaid, in variable transmission levels in both full and differing graduations.
  • Display lens thickness based on dioptric power, design, and material, in either uncut or glazed form in various frame styles and colours.
  • "Patient education" shows the symptoms and causes of myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism and presbyopia and shows how it can be corrected with a prescription lens.

Network option

Each Anyview installation can be networked to a maximum of six dispensing desks, allowing the dispense to be carried out in a more relaxed environment whilst freeing the main system for the next patient. Each networked client not only allows the measurement data to be transferred, but also all 3D dispensing content as well as providing a database facility.

Patient data transfer

Patient data can be sent directly to the laboratory via Email, and can be exported in standard XML format for seamless integration with existing practice management systems.

Print option includes mapping data and 1:1 (actual size) lab data.

Frames on face

frames_face.jpgAnyview's frames-on-face facility provides the ultimate life-like resolution with the following features:

  • Fully adjustable contrast and brightness controls to maximize image quality to suit any ambient lighting situation.
  • Capture up to 20 patient images, either manually or in auto timing mode.
  • Display images in numerous formats to speed up the selection process, for example, an automated slide show presentation.
  • Print out all images utilizing a laser colour printer, to allow the patient to discuss with friends or family before making their final choice, or to provide passport standard/approved photos.

Contact lens module

By taking a high-resolution image of the patient's face, varying eye shapes and sizes can be accounted for by utilizing a quick and easy tracing function. Iris positioning can be located with precision - even if the iris is dark-coloured.

With the virtual simulation of colour contact lenses, you can select from various makes, brands, and colours in varying colour density, and display them on screen, overlaid accurately on the patient's cornea.

The numerous 3D simulations emphasise the merits of both rigid gas permeable and soft contact lenses dependent upon ocular conditions, and help maximize patient understanding and awareness.

After sales and service

Because Anyview is a technological solution, the system is fully upgradeable with software and lens information updates.

The intelligent self-diagnostic system alerts you to any potential hardware or software issues.

An in-built remote assistance facility (requires Internet connection) allows the our technicians to provide off-site technical support by being able to access your system directly, wherever you are.

Should the system require physical maintenance, the UK-based service centre holds all spare parts in stock for a quick and efficient turn around.
